Scarathon; Top Halloween Movies on Your TV Right Now

Who knew that as an adult I would be obsessed with Halloween. When I say obsessed I don't say it lightly, I mean I would celebrate for a whole year kind of obsessed. In the UK it's celebrated but not as big and other countries such as America. I really wanted to go away this year for Halloween and experience it somewhere different but ofcourse Corona ain't having none of that. So, this month I decided to celebrate fully from start to finish! Go as extra as I possibly can, I am going to be the Hallo-Queen of Halloween. WARNING!!! This month I will be posting more blogs than usual because there are so many things I want to cover, so loads of content so make sure you are following me on my socials.

So as part of my Halloween Bucket List I enticed my boyfriend to have an afternoon Halloween Movie Marathon with me. Before I continue if you don't know about my Halloween Bucket List then you can check my blog about that out here! We got Halloween themed goodies and drinks and began watching. I have put together a list of all the films that we watched and what we rated them. These movies can be found on Netflix, Now TV and Amazon.

Halloween - Netflix

This is a film that I hadn't seen before, I know there a quite a few but I watched the first. I honestly thought it was great. It was a little clique at points, the usual horror movie why go there, why do that, he's behind you kind of thing but it was enjoyable so I will definitely be watching the others.

Hocus Pocus - Now TV

I use to love this film as a kid and hadn't seen it in donkeys years so was actually excited to see this one. LOVE LOVE LOVE this film! Need I say more, perfect for a family watch also.

My Rate 4.5*

My Boyfriend's Rate 4*

Conjuring - Netflix

Back to more of a horror for adults now, the conjuring is probably one of my favourite horror movies. It's hard to explain why I like it so much because it is the same to pretty much every other horror movie.. just better? Conjuring 2 is also just as good and the Annabelle film is based around these too but honestly I thought the Annabelle film was terrible.

Haunted Mansion - Now TV

This movie is one I hadn't seen in ages! I'm sure the last time I seen it I was a kid, family film and it was just as good as I remembered.

Haunted House - Netflix

This film is more of a comedy take on horror films, just like scary movies. I do like this film, it's funny yes but it's also kind of I don't even know how to describe. I mean if you like step brothers, bad neighbours, the hangover, films like that you'll probably enjoy this film. Give it a try and let me know.

Hotel Transylvania

Major childlike vibes again but this film is sooo good! Great for the family as well. The graphics are fab and the film is just so enjoyable. I'm not a cartoon watcher but this film I will admit I love. I've probably seen it about 50 times this year already.

My Rate 4.5*

My Boyfriend's Rate 4*

Coraline - Now TV

I watched this film absolutely ages ago, I'm sure I've only seen it once and I can't remember much so we decided to give it a watch. In all honesty we didn't reach the end, we got bored. That's all I have to say.

My Rate 1.5*

The Nun - Amazon Prime

A great film in our opinion. You tend to find a lot of unrealistic things in horrors especially where the characters do things that you wouldn't normally do and this film doesn't have that. Its a great watch, not recommended for a family watch. This is also a newer film so if you haven't seen it, try it.

The Invisible Man - Amazon Prime

When we first seen this film it was actually in the cinema so in a much better atmosphere however seeing it again was pretty much the exact same. It's not the best film ever but definitely worth the watch. I do enjoy this film.

My Boyfriend's Rate 4.5*

Ma - Amazon Prime

We have split opinions of this film. I love this film, not as much as some of the above but I do enjoy it. However my boyfriend thinks it's good but not as much as me. It's the time of film I'd watch over and over again.

My Rate 4*

My Boyfriend's Rate 3*

Overall the majority of the films were good and I know that there are so many others which are fab so I'd love to know films that you enjoy also but I didn't want to write 100 pages of films. So for now that it is and the first thing completed off my bucket list.
